Glowled Sponsor World Environment Day Event

Glowled proudly sponsored a World Environment Day event held at the Washington Wetland Centre over the weekend of June 10th-11th.

 

The 2 day event, organised by Climate Action North East (CIC) in association with WWT Washington and Enviro UK Consultants Ltd provided opportunities to connect with nature through activities, talks and demonstrations.

 

Glowled attended both days of the event promoting our line of energy efficient LED lights as well as offering energy saving advice and running a competition which encouraged people to turn recycled materials into a lamp, with the Glowled team making the best three ideas as a prize for the winners. (Watch this space for news on the winners!)

 

During the event, a special guest stopped by our stand. WWT’s own Dusty Duck had a look at an LED bulb, learned about our industrial lighting and even entered our competition!
