LEDs are energy efficient, extremely robust, cost effective, and environmentally friendly. Not all replacements for the power hungry, soon to be outlawed, incandescent light bulb are as environmentally friendly.

Many ‘energy saving’ light bulbs are routinely criticised for providing poor brightness levels and light colour. 
The ‘flickering’ nature of some fluorescent lights has adverse effects in a work environment and there are concerns over the safe disposal of the ‘curly’ CFL compact fluorescent light bulbs.

International pressure to conserve the environment has resulted in many Governments promoting LED as the future of lighting. High power LED lamps provide a true ‘white’ light that is extremely close to natural daylight.  High power LED lamps are available in ‘Cool White’, ‘Neutral White’ and ‘Warm White’ as well as standard Red, Green and Blue colours.

Unlike many light bulbs High Power LED Lamps do not contain harmful chemicals, are safe to handle and can be recycled.
